1.  The man who is standing there is my frind.
2.  The man  standing there is my frind.

คำถาม
0.  ประโยค 1และ 2 เป็น tense อะไร
1.  2ประโยคนี้ ความหมายต่างกันใช่ไหม เพราะประโยค1. เป็น present cont เพราะมี  is standing  ก็ต้องแปลว่า
ผู้ซึ่งกำลังยืนอยู่ตรงนั้น ส่วนประโยค 2.แปลว่า ผู้ซึ่งยืนอยู่ตรงนั้น  
2.  ประโยค1.  ปกติ หลัง who ต้องตามด้วย v.to.be หรอ ถ้าไม่  ทำไมถึงไม่เขียนเป็น
The man who  standing there is my frind.  เลยหละ  เพราประโยค 2 หลัง the man ยังตามด้วย standing
ได้เลย โดยไม่มี is  
3.  He is eating the food  ส่วนไหน คือ V.แท้ is หรือ eating หรือ is eating  

4. If he is pressed harder, he must tell you.  กริยาแท้ คือ ส่วนไหน

5.  ต่อจากข้อ4.ยุบเป็น  If pressed a little harder, the boy must confess  แล้วกริยาแท้คือส่วนไหน

2. The man(s) [standing there]/ is(v) my friend

0. ประโยค 1 และ 2 เป็น present simple นะครับ สังเกต จาก is
1. ประโยค 1 และ 2 นี่มีความหมายเหมือนกันนะครับ "ผู้ชายที่ยืนอยู่ตรงนั้นเป็นเพื่อนของฉัน" ต่างกันที่ มี who ไม่มี who
2. หลัง who  ไม่จำเป็นต้องเป็น v. to be นะครับ สังเกตได้จากประโยคที่เรียน he is the man who talked to you เป็น รูปอื่นก็ได้
3. he(s)/ is eating(v) the food ก็ ทั้ง is eating เป็นกริยาแท้ เพราะทำหน้าที่เป็นกริยาหลักของประโยค (กรืยาช่วยจะเป็นแบบ ประโยคที่ 2 standing)
4. If he(s)/ is pressed(v) harder, he(s)/ must(modal) tell(v) you ก็ จากประโยค  กริยาแท้ก็คือ ทั้ง is pressed , must tell (มี2 ตัวเพราะเป็น if clause)
5. กริยาแท้ก็ must confess ครับ เนื่องจาก pressed a little harder เป็นส่วนขยายของ the boy

คือ หลัง who เป็นส่วนขยายอ่ะครับน้อง ก็ต้องตามด้วย v ตาม tense ต่างๆอะ
(ที่เป็น is standing ก็เพราะเป็น present cont.)

ทั้งสองประโยคเหมือนกันครับ

เพียงแต่ The man standing there is my friend.

เป็นการลดรูปของ adjective clause เหลือแค่ present participleครับ

ถ้าเกิด เป็นประโยคนี้ The man coming from Chiang Mai is my friend

coming from Chiang Mai จะเป็น Adjective Phrase แทนครับผม

adjective clause เรียนอีกชื่อว่า releative clause ก็ได้ครับผม

ประโยคนี้ไม่น่าถูกต้องนา..

ส่วนตัวเค้าจะใช้วิธีแยกประโยคออกมาอะ เพราะเวลาเชื่อมพวกนี้ส่วนใหญ่มักจะเป็นประโยค 2 ประโยค

ถ้าแยกจาก the man who standing there is my friend มันจะได้เป็น clause (the man standing there) กับประโยค (the man is my friend)

เพื่อให้เป็นประโยค 2 ประโยคเชื่อมกัน clause ด้านหน้าก็ต้องเป็น the man is standing there

ทำให้รูปประโยคที่ถูกต้องเป็น the man who is standing there is my friend ค่ะ
