  สวัสดีค่ะคุณครู และเพื่อนๆทุกคนนะคะ
คือ หนูสงสัยโจทย์อยู่ ข้อหนึ่งน่ะค่ะ มันถามว่าข้อใดผิด
1.He still does not come.
2.Are you still awake.
3.He will still do it when I get back.
4.She still is not well.
แล้วเค้าเฉลยมาว่าเป็นข้อ 4 ที่ผิดน่ะคะ่
หนูเข้าใจว่า still มันเป็น adverb  ใช่ไหมคะ เเล้วเวลาเรานำไปใช้ ตำแหน่งของ adverb มันต้องอยู่หลังหลัง VERB TO BEและ กริยาช่วย ซึ่งข้อ 4 มันก็ผิดเพราะมันอยู่หน้า VERB TO BE แต่หนูไม่เข้าใจข้อ 1 เลยน่ะคะ ว่าทำไมมันถึงวางไว้หน้า verb ช่วย อย่าง does ได้
รบกวนคุณครู และเพื่อนๆช่วยตอบทีนะคะ ถ้าเป็นไปได้ช่วยอธิบายด้วยค่ะว่า still มันใช้ยังไงอ่ะคะ

'Still' has the same position in sentence 1 that a frequency adverb (usually, sometimes, etc)has.

ตำเเหน่งของ still เหมือน adv of frequency ทั่วไปค่ะ

He still does not come.
(=He is not coming.)



She still is not well. (ขยาย is)


'still' can be placed before the verb 'be' (is, or after it, like a frequency adverb

still วางไว้ข้างหน้า  หรือ หลัง ver to be ได้ค่ะ

เช่น
 

'She still is not well. '  (ขยาย is)

 'She is still not well .' (ขยาย not well)
