คือผมไม่เข้าใจการใช้ used to ที่แปลว่าเคยทำในอดีต
และการใช้ would ที่แปลว่ากระทำอย่างต่อเนื่องในอดีต อะครับ?
 
"We would go to the coast every year in the summer throughout my childhood"

กับ

"We used to go to the coast every year in the summer throughout my childhood"

ต่างกันอย่างไรครับ???

ใช้แทนกันได้เลยครับ

ทั้ง used to และ would... ใช้บอกเล่ากิจวัตรในอดีตเหมือนกัน

will + v1 ยังใช้กับ habits in the present ได้ด้วย(เหมือน simple present tense) แต่จุดเน้นจะเน้นที่ characteristics ของ performmers(subj) มากกว่า action

Ex: An Englishmanwill usually show you the way in trhe the street. (It is normal for an Englishman to act in this way)

แต่การใช้ will ลักษณะนี้ จะพบน้อยกว่า การใช้ would + v1 เพื่อบอก past routine ครับ

กรณีที่เป็น discontinued habits or a past situation which ccontrasts with the present (คือเป็นลักาณะนิสัยในอดีตทีไม่ได้เกิดแบบต่อเนื่อง หรือเป็นเหตูการณ์ในอดีตซึ่งตรงกันข้ามกับปัจจุบัน) ใช้ used to ได้อย่างเดียว จะใช้ would +v1 แทนไม่ได้ เช่น

He used to drink beer; now he drinks wine.
