Determiner คือคำขยายนามประเภทหนึ่ง แต่ไม่ใช่adj. adj โดยทั่วไปจะขยายนาม โดยจะบอกถึง คุณภาพ หรือ ลักษณะของนามนั้นๆ(quality or feature) ต.ย.determiners เช่น

1. articles (a,an,the)
2. demonstratives ( this, that..)
3 .possessive (my books)
4. quantifiers ( คำที่บอกจำนวน )
